An after-school aide employed by the city of San Bruno is facing three years in state prison after he pleaded no contest Tuesday to two counts of lewd acts upon a child, according to the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office.
Accused of having inappropriate contact with a 12-year-old girl at the Parkside Intermediate School campus, Anthony Pellouchoud, 26, previously pleaded not guilty to counts of child molestation and solicitation of a sexual act, according to prosecutors.
Around 6 p.m. Nov. 17, Pellouchoud was seen alone with the girl in a locked computer lab on the school campus by a custodian, who also allegedly saw him hugging and kissing the girl before notifying school officials and police, according to prosecutors.
Following Pellouchoud’s arrest at his home Nov. 28, an investigation revealed he had inappropriate contact with the child and sent or exhibited pornography to her, according to police and sheriff’s records previously.
His offenses date back to Aug. 1, 2016, and he has remained in custody on $1.15 million bail since his arrest, according to prosecutors.
Pellouchoud will next appear in court June 14 for sentencing, according to prosecutors.
His defense attorney Jeff Jackson could not be immediately reached for comment.
