• The Redwood City Council will consider adopting its 2015-2023 Housing Element. At the same meeting, the council will consider purchasing one 2015 Ford F450 Super Cab pick up truck for $107,595.25 from Towne Ford of Redwood City to replace an existing utility truck for responding to water leaks.
The council meets 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20 at City Hall, 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City.
• The city of San Mateo will be holding a workshop and tour of the “Three Corners” site at Third Avenue and El Camino Real where three new developments have been proposed. This is not a City Council meeting, but a quorum may be present. The tour and workshop will begin 5:30 p.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21 at the northeast corner of Third Avenue and El Camino Real and proceed to the Oak Room of the Main Library nearby.
