The City of Burlingame is inviting residents to get involved in local decision-making by applying for open seats on three city commissions.
Burlingame is seeking applicants to fill one vacancy on the Traffic, Safety & Parking Commission, two on the Beautification Commission, and three on the Parks & Recreation Commission, city officials said Tuesday.
Commission members work closely with City Council and staff to share ideas and make recommendations on community issues ranging from traffic and public safety to beautification projects and recreation programs.
“All applicants are welcome,” the city said in its announcement, encouraging residents with interest or experience in these areas to apply.
Applications and a supplemental questionnaire is available at www.burlingame.org, under the Government/Commission page.
Residents with questions may contact Ana Silva in the City Manager’s Office at (650) 558-7204.
