Over 200 guests gathered at the Menlo Circus Club for a cocktail reception, followed by a program that honored Community Overcoming Relationship Abuse partners and raised awareness about the impact of domestic violence on families, the workplace and our community. The event was hosted by KTVU’s Lloyd LaCuesta. CORA presented awards to Sen. Leland Yee for his advocacy on behalf of domestic violence agencies throughout California and to the Grove Foundation its ongoing investment in our work.  Attendees enjoyed the evening’s entertainment, comic and political satirist, Will Durst. The evening ended with a live auction in support of CORA’s services, hosted by San Mateo County Supervisor Rich Gordon and Assemblyman Jerry Hill. The event raised more than $120,000 for CORA’s services for victims of domestic violence, surpassing our goal.
