Community-Rebuilding

In San Bruno Saturday, April 26, a volunteer team from the San Francisco Peninsula chapter of the Asian Real Estate Association of America helped restore a senior homeowner’s backyard — primarily demoing a failing fence. The team was led by volunteer Site Captain Alan Louie, far right , and Saturday was a midpoint in the overall work Rebuilding Together Peninsula and Alan provided. In addition to eventually installing a new fence, she will receive a new roof on her backyard shed, as well as a repainted shed and storage unit, new railings, and more - which followed previous miscellaneous carpentry work, electrical upgrades and a repainting of her entire home exterior. Homeowner Ida, at center in blue jacket, is a senior living on her own, and is receiving repair service at no cost from RTP, of which she has not been able to address on her own.
