Christmas at Self-Help for the Elderly San Mateo Center

Police Chief Ed Barberini, center, enjoys lunch and conversation as 130 seniors and nearly 30 guests of Self-Help for the Elderly San Mateo Center celebrate Christmas together Dec. 13, with the San Mateo mayor, city staff and volunteers at the Central Park. Guests enjoy a good, hot meal, live music, singing and dancing, to kick-start the holiday celebration. Also in attendance were San Mateo County Supervisor Noelia Corzo, San Mateo Mayor Lisa Diaz Nash, City Manager Alex Khojikian, Parks Director Joanne Magrini, and City Librarian James Moore.
