Earth Week wildflower walk
Enjoy an Earth Week wildflower walk Sunday with Naturalist Terry Strachan at Costanoa. Meet in front of the Ranch House to explore nearby foothills and revel in the bounty of local lupines, asters and poppies. The walk takes place 10 a.m. at the Costanoa Coastal Lodge, 2001 Rossi Road at Highway 1, Pescadero. For more information call 879-1100.
Dream machines
Sunday welcomes the Pacific Coast Dream Machines Show, a collection of motorized mechanical marvels including "Ack Attack,” the World’s Fastest Motorcycle; P-51 "Strega,” 8-Time Reno Air Race Champion; Historic B-25 Bomber "Heavenly Body”; and the M551 Sheridan Tank "Deathstalker.” Food, live music and kids’ amusements. The event takes place 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Half Moon Bay Airport, on Highway 1, 5 miles north of State Route 92. $20 adults, $10 ages 11 to 17 and seniors, free for kids age 10 and under.
