NEW YORK (AP) — The Weeknd’s After Hours ’Til Dawn Tour has officially crossed the $1 billion mark according to Live Nation. The lengthy tour launched in Philadelphia in July 2022 and runs through September of next year. Live Nation says it has officially grossed $1.004 billion with approximately 7.55 million tickets sold across 153 tour dates. The entertainment company's data is pulled from presales and ticket sales reports as well as VIP and platinum sales reports, collected from March 4, 2022 through Nov. 14, 2025. The tour ends on September 6, 2026 at Estádio do Restelo in Lisbon, Portugal. The tour spans North America, Europe, Latin America and Australia.

Lainey Wilson wins entertainer of the year at 2025 CMA Awards

NEW YORK (AP) — The 2025 Country Music Association Awards were all about Lainey Wilson. The ‘Whirlwind’ singer hosted and performed at the award show. She also dominated it, winning female vocalist, album and entertainer of the year. Ella Langley's collaboration with Riley Green, “You Look Like You Love Me,” took home single and song of the year. The legendary Vince Gill was presented with the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award by George Strait. Zach Top was awarded new artist of the year. The 59th annual CMA Awards were broadcast live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. It will become available to stream Thursday on Hulu.

$54.7M sale of Frida Kahlo self-portrait breaks auction record for female artists

A 1940 self-portrait by Frida Kahlo has sold for $54.7 million and made auction history at Sotheby’s in New York. Titled “El sueño (La cama),” the painting sold Thursday, surpassing the record for a work by any female artist. Gary Mounfield, former Stone Roses bassist, has died at 63

LONDON (AP) — Stone Roses and Primal Scream ex-bass player Gary Mounfield has died at age 63. Those groups were two of the most influential British rock bands of the past four decades. Mounfield's former Stone Roses bandmate Ian Brown confirmed the death of Mounfield on Thursday on social media. Brown posted “rest in peace Mani” alongside a kiss. Mounfield was better known by his fans as Mani. Mounfield was part of The Stone Roses’ classic lineup alongside singer Brown, guitarist John Squire and drummer Alan “Reni” Wren during their 1989 self-titled classic debut album. The Stone Roses broke up in 1996 citing musical differences. Mani then joined Scottish rock band Primal Scream.
