RIO DE JANEIRO (AP) — Officials in Brazil were inspecting the site of a Sunday's fatal helicopter crash. Six people were killed after two helicopters collided midair over a suburb of Rio de Janeiro. Rio de Janeiro police officer Alan Luxardo told reporters Monday at the crash site that human error might have led to the collision between the two helicopters on Sunday morning. He added that authorities were investigating whether air traffic controllers or one of the pilots was responsible for the crash.

The pianist and composer, formerly known as Dollar Brand, passed away in Germany after a short illness. Born in Cape Town, Ibrahim became an international icon with a career spanning over seven decades. He blended jazz with South African musical traditions and famously played at Nelson Mandela’s 1994 inauguration. His last public concert in South Africa was at the Cape Town International Jazz Festival in March. A rare first edition of 'Wuthering Heights' complete with spelling mistakes is up for auction

LONDON (AP) — A rare first-edition copy of Emily Brontë’s novel "Wuthering Heights" is up for auction for the first time in over a century. Christie's auction house announced Monday that this is the first copy in the publisher’s original cloth binding to be auctioned since 1908. Only about 250 copies of the first edition were printed, and this one has been in a private library since shortly after its publication in 1847. The book, along with a copy of Anne Brontë’s "Agnes Grey," is expected to sell for between 400,000 and 600,000 pounds at a June 30 sale in London.
