Mercy-Burlingame 13, Pinewood 0
Rania Salamy’s hat trick led a Crusaders onslaught as they remain undefeated in West Bay Athletic League Skyline Division play.
In addition to Salamy, Mercy-Burlingame (10-0 WBAL Skyline, 14-4 overall) got two goals each from Elizabeth Bermudez, Sara Bermudez and Isabel Bojorquez. Caroline Callagy, Tori Wei, Jayden Pineda and Raquel Camacho rounded out the scoring for the Crusaders.
Gen Flieder posted her 10th straight shutout. She hasn’t allowed a goal since last year — Dec. 28 in a 4-1 loss to Urban-SF.
The win clinches at least a division co-championship for the Crusaders. The Skyline Division champion will face the fourth-place team in the WBAL’s Foothill Division for the league’s final automatic CCS spot.
