Lukas Fitzgerald did attempt two passes in a 31-7 win over Aragon two weeks ago, but they were negated by a pair of defensive pass interference calls.

The Bruins were blasted by Wilcox last week, 42-0. … The Wildcats whipped Capuchino, 48-27. … Woodside beat Santa Clara 35-20 last year. … Santa Clara had a two-game winning streak snapped last week. … In the Bruins’ two wins, they’ve scored a combined 75 points. In their two losses, the’ve scored six. … Woodside is one of just two PAL teams still undefeated, along with Menlo School. … Wildcats quarterback Charlie Dalrymple had another maximum-minimum outing. He completed just 6 of 11 passes — but for 152 yards and two touchdowns. Daniel Torres caught five of them for 142 yards and both scores.

The Grizzlies had a bye last week. They grabbed their first win of the season, 37-6, over Lincoln-SF two weeks ago. … The Colts rallied for a 27-21 overtime win over Homestead last week. … Jefferson beat El Camino 24-0 in 2024. … The win over Lincoln was the first of the season for Jefferson. … The 37 points was a season-high for the Grizzlies, who had scored a total of 16 in their two losses. … El Camino has won two straight. The Colts won by forfeit over Prospect Sept. 5.

The Vikings emerged victorious over Harbor-Santa Cruz last week, 26-7. … The Pioneers had a bye last week. They were pounded by Santa Clara 33-7 two weeks ago. … Mills beat Cupertino 7-0 last season. … Mills’ passing attack was clicking against the Pirates. Quarterback Brian Lourenco completed 17 of 23 passes for 259 yards and three interceptions. Receiver Kosta Jade and Leo Wasmuth combined for 14 catches for 248 yards and all three touchdowns. … the six points allowed was a season-low for the Vikings. … Cupertino was held to just 172 yards of offense last week. … The Pioneers have been outscored 89-45 through three games.

The Knights knocked out Mountain View last week, 48-10. … The Broncos were beaten by Clayton Valley in barnburner, 39-33. … This is the first meeting between these programs. … Menlo scored 34 in the first quarter last week and all 48 in the first half, scoring touchdowns on all seven of its drives. … Knights quarterback Jack Freehill threw for 200 or more yards for the second time last week. In both instances, he’s thrown for 201 yards. … The Menlo defense has given up a total of 38 points this season — with San Mateo scoring 28 of them. … Northgate is averaging 172 yards passing and 143 yards rushing per game. … The Broncos threw for a season-high 206 yards last week.

The Bulldogs buried American River last week, 38-14. … The Fresno Rams suffered a 29-28 loss to San Francisco. … CSM has beaten Fresno five straight times, including 14-7 last year. The last time the Rams won, they beat the Bulldogs 34-31 in 2017. … The Bulldogs defense hasn’t allowed more than 21 points in any game this season. They have allowed 14 points or less three times. … After scoring a combined 48 points in its first two games, the CSM offense, in its last two, has scored 74. … Fresno had a two-game winning streak snapped last week. … After scoring just three points in a season-opening 10-3 loss to Diablo Valley, the Rams have scored 41, 42 and 28 points.
