St. Ignatius 3, Serra 2
The Padres were officially eliminated in the West Catholic Athletic League championship race, falling at home to first-place St. Ignatius (9-2-2 WCAL, 14-3-2 overall).
Serra (6-3-4, 10-4-5) had gone 2-0-1 over its previous three matches to stay alive mathematically in the title hunt, but could not deny St. Ignatius as the Wildcats are closing on the WCAL title. With the win, the Wildcats improve to 29 points in league play, but go head-to-head with second-place Mitty (27 points) in Wednesday’s regular-season finale. A win or a draw will secure St. Ignatius its first league crown since 2018-19.
Currently in fourth place, the Padres close the regular season at home Wednesday against Riordan at 2:45 p.m.
Girls’ soccer
Aragon 3, Nueva 1
The Lady Dons (6-5-7 overall) closed out the season by lifting their overall record above .500 for the fourth straight season with a non-league win over Nueva School (14-3-1) at Skyline College. The loss snaps an 11-game winning streak for the Mavericks.

Boys’ soccer
Hillsdale 2, Aragon 0
The Fighting Knights (9-0-4 PAL Bay, 12-1-6 overall) took care of business to clinch the PAL Bay Division championship, getting back in the win column at home against Aragon (4-9-1, 5-12.2). Hillsdale was coming off a scoreless draw at Carlmont, but hasn’t lost a game since its season opener Dec. 3, 2025, in non-league play against Monte Vista-Danville.
Senior Tyler Essa got Hillsdale on the board with a first-half goal on an assist from senior Tyler Hughes. In the second half, senior forward Ryan Hernandez added to the lead with an assist from senior Cristian Gomez. Senior goalkeepers Logan Baker and Emiliano Lopez shared time in the cage to record the shutout.
Woodside 1, Menlo-Atherton 1
Senior Ben Lange scored the equalizer in the second half to carry Woodside (6-2-5 PAL Bay, 8-4-6 overall) to a draw at Menlo-Atherton (3-6-3, 4-10-4). Senior Ryan Quiros got M-A on the board in the first half on an assist from senior Tomer Jacobs.
South City 1, Burlingame 1
South City (1-10-3 PAL Bay, 1-13-3) closed the season by earning a moral victory by forcing a 1-1 draw at Burlingame (7-4-3, 11-4-3). Both teams scored in the second half, with Burlingame converting on a goal by Dylan Rossen. The draw cost the third-place Panthers (24 points) a chance to leapfrog second-place Woodside (25 points) in the PAL Bay Division standings.

Half Moon Bay 4, Terra Nova 0
The Cougars (13-2-1 PAL Ocean, 13-5-2 overall) finished out the regular season with a rivalry win at home over Terra Nova (3-11-2, 3-11-2). Anthony Sarabia scored twice for HMB. Kaleb Eisen got the Cougars on the board in the first half with Dylan Loof assisting. Donovan Almendarez made it 2-0 on the first of Omar Valencia’s two assists.
Mills 2, Capuchino 1
The Vikings (9-6-1 PAL Ocean, 9-7-1 overall) finished the regular season on a three-game winning streak, prevailing at home against rival Capuchino (5-9-2, 6-9-3). Hugo Ramirez got Mills on the board in the first half with an assist from Simon Post. In the second half, Julian Mindel assisted on Joshua Huei’s game-winner.
Latino College Prep 5, Nueva 0
Senior Joseph Salazar recorded a hat trick for Latino College Prep-San Jose (12-0 PSAL, 15-1-2 overall) to close out the Private School Athletic League title for the Golden Eagles. Latino Prep had entered play already having clinched the title. Nueva finishes second.
In other action ...
Crystal (10-1-1 WBAL, 14-1-2 overall) rolled to a 7-1 home victory over Pinewood (1-11-1, 1-12-1). With the win, the Gryphons remain tied with Menlo School (31 points apiece) for second place in the West Bay Athletic League standings behind first-place Sacred Heart Prep (32 points) with two regular-season games to play. Crystal hosts SHP in a Monday showdown at 3:30 p.m.
Sacred Heart Prep (10-0-2 WBAL, 11-1-4 overall) scored twice in the second half to claim a 2-0 win at Priory (7-7, 10-9).
Menlo School (10-1-1 WBAL, 12-3-3 overall) rolled to an 11-0 home win over the King’s Academy (2-7-2, 3-11-2).
Carlmont (4-4-5 PAL Bay, 5-6-6 overall) battled to a 0-0 draw at Sequoia (3-8-3, 5-9-4).
Summit Prep (5-4-1 PSAL, 5-4-1 overall) rolled to a 5-0 home win over Summit Shasta (1-9 PSAL, 1-10 overall).
Girls’ soccer
Capuchino 1, Mills 0
The Lady Mustangs (4-4-1 PAL Ocean, 4-13-2 overall) closed out the year with a rivalry win at Mills (4-5, 9-12). Cap’s win snaps a two-game losing streak in head-to-head play with the Lady Vikings, dating back to last season.
In other action ...
Mercy-Burlingame earned a 1-1 draw at home against first-place Harker-San Jose.
