Menlo School 6, Sacred Heart Prep 1
The Knights rolled to the West Bay Athletic League win over the rival Gators.
Two of the matches went to three sets, with the teams splitting them. Menlo (2-0 WBAL, 12-2 overall) got a 4-6, 6-0, 11-9 win from Emily Lee over Jena Azmeh at No. 2 singles. Ela Viswanthan, the No. 4 singles player for SHP (1-1, 6-3) topped Sophia Wang, 6-3, 4-6, 10-6.
Carlmont 7, Menlo-Atherton 0
The Scots near the halfway point of the PAL Bay Division season and remain the favorite to win a third straight title after shutting out the Bears.
Zoe Hendricks and Megan Bence, playing at No. 1 and No. 2 singles respectively, both won their matches 6-0, 6-0.
The match of the day came at No. 4 singles, where Carlmont's Amelie Du Chau needed three sets to get past Yara Abelsorour, 6-3, 6-7, 10-6.
Carlmont improve to 6-0 in the Bay Division and 9-2 overall. M-A falls to 3-3 and 7-5.
Aragon 6, Mills 1
The Dons rebounded from their first Bay Division loss to beat the Vikings.
Aragon (5-1 PAL Bay, 9-2 overall) took three of four singles matches, led by No. 1 Mia Lo, who won 6-0, 6-0.
Mills (3-3, 7-3) got its win at No. 4 singles, where Sophie Lee got past Catie Wu in three sets, 6-3, 3-6, 10-5.
Woodside 6, El Camino 1
The Ocean Division-leading Wildcats rolled over the Colts.
Malia Furukawa did not drop a game in a 6-0, 6-0 for Woodside (6-0 PAL Ocean, 7-0 overall) at No. 1 singles.
El Camino (2-4) got its win at No. 3 singles, posting a 6-2, 6-1 decision.
Hillsdale 5, Oceana 2
The Knights kept the pressure on Woodside, beating the Sharks to stay one game out of first place.
Elise Heneghan had to rally from a set down to beat Clare Byun 2-6, 7-6(0), 10-3 to give Hillsdale (5-1 PAL Ocean, 6-2 overall) a win at No. 3 singles.
Melanie Phillips gave Oceana (4-2) a three-set win at No. 3 singles, beating Lia Svidler 6-3, 4-6, 11-9.
In other action …
San Mateo (2-4 PAL Bay, 2-4 overall) beat Half Moon Bay (0-5, 0-7), 5-2.
Burlingame (3-2 PAL Bay, 7-4 overall) did not drop a set in 7-0 sweep of Sequoia (1-5, 1-5).
Capuchino (4-2 PAL Ocean) stayed in the hunt for an Ocean title, slipping past Westmoor (2-4), 4-3.

Girls' golf
Aragon 218, Carlmont 219
The Dons stayed undefeated, barely, knocking off the Scots for the second time this season.
Carlmont's Tessa Lee earned low-round honors at Poplar Creek Golf Course in San Mateo, firing a 3-over 38.
But the top four golfers for Aragon (6-0 PAL Bay) all finished within four shots of each other. Kate Chong, once again, led the way for the Dons, posting a 5-over 40. Autumn Ogawa was a shot back with a 41, Ariel Ogawa came in with a 43 and Hannah Lin a 44 for the Dons.
Karuna Mungali carded a 42 for Carlmont (1-3), Kathryn Winters a 44, Dakota Chang a 47, while Caroline Miyazoni and Lindsey Wong both finished with 48s.
Boys' water polo
Woodside 12, Hillsdale 3
The Wildcats posted a statement win over the Knights to stay in the race for the PAL Bay Division title.
Woodside (2-1 PAL Bay, 3-4 overall) took control of the game in the first period, outscoring Hillsdale (1-3, 7-4) 5-0.
Williams Stevenson paced the offense for the Wildcats, while goalie Brody Pfeffer finished with seven saves.
Isaiah Yeager scored two of the three goals for the Knights.
Menlo-Atherton 14, Priory 9
The Bears scored eight first-half goals on their way to the win over the Panthers.
Navid Riahi and Evan ten Vaanholt each scored four goals for M-A (3-1 PAL Bay, 5-4 overall). Goalie Michael Poirier stood tall in the cage, finishing with 13 saves.
Burlingame 21, Carlmont 8
Adrian Gong got it done on both ends of the pool to help lead the Panthers to the lopsided with over the Scots.
Gong scored four times for Burlingame (3-0 PAL Bay, 9-5 overall), which sits atop the Bay Division standings and is the only undefeated team in division play. Gong also drew six kickouts.
Girls' water polo
Sacred Heart Prep 9, Arroyo Grande 3
Held to just one goal in the first period, the Gators scored four in the second to take control on their way to the non-league win over Arroyo Grande.
Casey Coleman paced the offense for SHP, scoring four goals. Kiernan Hogan added a pair of goals and assisted on a third. Caroline Serna also scored twice for the Gators.

Menlo-Atherton (3-0 PAL Bay, 4-3 overall) rolled past Terra Nova (1-2), 10-4.
Aragon (2-1 PAL Bay, 5-2 overall) smoked Carlmont (0-2), 17-4.
