Half Moon Bay 65, Mills 59
The Bay Division-leading Cougars held off the Vikings to stay undefeated in Bay play.
After being held in relative check in last Friday’s 51-49 win over M-A, during which she scored 12 points, Zoe Lemoge went off for 33 points for HMB (7-0 PAL Bay, 15-3 overall). Makena Glynn, who sank the winning 3-pointer against M-A, finished with 15 points and connected on another three 3-pointers.
Mills (2-5, 7-10) was led by Kelly Ho, who scored 18 points.
Carlmont 46, Hillsdale 40
The Scots used a 23-point fourth quarter to rally for the win over the Knights.
Carlmont (2-5 PAL Bay, 11-8 overall) trailed 27-24 entering the fourth quarter.
The Scots were led by London Greene, who scored 13 points, while Mia Musakawa added 11.
Hillsdale (3-4, 12-6) got 15 points from Daniella Sierra.
Capuchino 39, Woodside 35
The Mustangs took control of the Ocean Division, handing the Wildcats their first division loss as they ran their winning streak to 13 games in a row.
The game was tied at 15-all before Capuchino (7-0 PAL Ocean, 14-2 overall) outscored Woodside (6-1, 12-5) 15-10 in the third quarter.
Lorelai Shinn led the Mustangs with a game-high 19 points. Kailee Gonzales added 13 in the win.
Woodside was led by Lyla Rich, who finished with 12 points on four 3-pointers.
South City 47, Burlingame 44
The Warriors used a 19-point fourth quarter to slip past the Panthers.
South City (4-3 PAL Ocean, 11-8 overall) got 14 points from both Liala Kinchen and Chloe Wong, while Kylee Chiva chipped in 11.
Burlingame (4-3, 9-9) was led by Kendall Gorshen, who scored a game-high 22 points.
Priory 64, Notre Dame-Belmont 29
The Panthers had three players score in double figures as they handed the Tigers their second loss of the season as they continue to pace the WBAL standings, running their winning streak to seven in a row in the process.
Gabby Wickham scored a game-high 18 points for Priory (5-0 WBAL Foothill, 13-5 overall), adding four rebounds and three steals. Sasha Johnson added 16 points, to go along with four rebounds and two steals, while Ugreat Daniels had 12 points, eight board, two steals and two assists.
NDB falls to 3-2 in WBAL games and 14-2 overall.
Menlo School 43, Notre Dame-SJ 34
Ava Allen, the two-time Daily Journal Flag Football Player of the Year, scored a team-high 17 points to lead the Knights to the win over the Regents.
Sierra Wynn added 10 points for Menlo (2-3 WBAL Foothill, 13-5 overall).
NDSJ falls to 1-4 and 9-9.
Sacred Heart Prep 58, Castilleja 32
Freshman Bella Jansen-Olliges scored a game-high 17 points to lead SHP over Castilleja in a WBAL Skyline Division matchup.
Kate Baron and Jocelyn Jones each added 15 points for SHP (5-0 WBAL Skyline, 8-7 overall).
Castilleja (2-3, 7-8) was led by Rianne Sok, who finished with 16 points.
In other action ...
El Camino (2-5 PAL Ocean, 5-13 overall) had no trouble with Oceana (0-7, 0-13), winning 52-7.
Westmoor (3-4 PAL Ocean, 8-10 overall) got past Sequoia (2-5, 8-10), 63-52.
Terra Nova (5-2 PAL Ocean, 9-7 overall) beat Jefferson (2-5, 9-9), 53-46.
King’s Academy (4-1 WBAL Skyline, 13-5 overall) hammered Mercy (0-5, 7-10), 60-13.

Menlo-Atherton 66, Jefferson 30
The Bears continue to be the class of the Bay Division as they stayed undefeated as they cruised to the win over the Grizzlies.
This game was all but over after the first quarter, as M-A (7-0 PAL Bay, 14-3 overall) built a 26-5 lead and was up 48-8 at halftime.
Jerry Williams led the Bears with 14 points as 12 M-A players got in the scoring column.
Jefferson (0-7, 6-13) was by Bladimir Linares, who finished with 10 points.
Half Moon Bay 54, Sequoia 50
The Cougars, fresh off their first PAL Bay Division loss to M-A last Friday, 61-48, had to rally to top the Ravens.
HMB (6-1 PAL Bay, 12-7 overall) found itself trailing by as many as 12 points in the first half and were down 10, 34-24, at halftime, but rallied for the win.
Gio Garduno-Martin led the Cougars with 16 points, while Levi Meighan added 15 and Daniel Moctezuma had 10 points.
Sequoia (2-5, 7-11) also had three players score in double figures, led by Isaiah Hahn Tapper’s 11. Nick Henderson and Xavier Ferretty each had 10 points for the Ravens.
Carlmont 50, Burlingame 43
The Panthers’ path to a Bay Division title got that much tougher with the loss to the Scots.
Burlingame (4-3 PAL Bay, 12-6 overall) is three games back of Menlo-Atherton as the Panthers faced the Bears Wednesday night.
Carlmont (4-3, 9-8) was led by Jordan Rice, who scored 17 points, followed by 16 points from Luke Brown.
The Panthers got a game-high 23 points from Lucca Maher.
Aragon 45, El Camino 36
The Dons continue to lead the PAL Ocean Division standings with the win over the Colts.
Aragon (7-0 PAL Ocean, 15-4 overall) trailed 19-14 at halftime, but outscored El Camino (4-3, 9-9) 31-17 in the second half. Quinrun Zhang led the Dons with 10 points.
El Camino got eight points from Eli Ledesma.
South City 63, Capuchino 52
The Warriors outscored the Mustangs 39-25 in the second and third quarters to take control of their game with the Mustangs.
South City (3-4 PAL Ocean, 7-11 overall) got 15 points from Marcus Zhu, 14 from Thomas Miller and 10 from Maryx Cabanog. Capuchino (2-5, 7-12) got a game-high 16 points from Matt Alas.
Mills 73, Oceana 43
The Vikings used a 25-8 second quarter to pound the Sharks.
Mills (4-3 PAL Ocean, 6-11 overall) got 14 points from Kendrick Choi. Oceana (0-7, 5-14) was led by Catcher Ashkinos, who scored a game-high 21 points. Cristian Cabrera added 15 for the Sharks.
Westmoor 41, San Mateo 26
The Rams led 22-8 at halftime and cruised to the Ocean Division victory.
Westmoor (2-5 PAL Ocean, 7-12 overall) got a game-high 17 points from Austin Prado and 14 from Diego Sotomayor-Calero.
San Mateo (2-5, 9-10) was led by Bryan Ehlerman, who finished with nine points.

Sacred Heart Prep (3-2 WBAL, 10-8 overall) rolled to a 67-45 win over Crystal (3-2, 13-4).
Menlo School (2-3 WBAL, 10-8 overall) got past Pinewood (2-3, 13-5), 55-48.
Priory (4-1 WBAL, 13-5 overall) buried Harker (0-5, 5-13), 81-44.
Summit Shasta (8-0 PSAL, 13-6 overall) overwhelmed Nueva School (2-6, 3-14), 83-38.
