Menlo senior Sam Untrecht fires for his fourth goal against Menlo-Atherton on Saturday.
Since 1993, the Menlo Knights have fallen short of a Peninsula Athletic League boys’ water polo tournament title just twice. Saturday, they maintained their dominance in the annual playoff tourney with an 18-7 win over Menlo-Atherton.
Senior Sam Untrecht paved the way with eight goals and Noah Housenbold added a hat trick.
Sophomore goalie Zayd Mahmoud manned the cage for seven saves.
