Three wins in two days. Thirteen straight wins. Just more of the same for the reigning state softball champion College of San Mateo Bulldogs.

CSM (13-0) pushed its overall winning streak to 29 games, dating back to April 8, 2025, of last season, with a 10-1 win at Folsom Lake (8-3). Sophomore Nia Mapa sparked a five-run rally in the top of the first with an RBI single, and finished the day 3 for 4 with a home runs and four RBIs. Sophomore catcher Love Cabanas homered twice in the game, including a three-run blast in the first, in support of freshman staring pitcher Lola Sierra’s five shutout innings.
Sierra has now fired 14 straight shutout innings, including a two-hit gem Friday in the Bulldogs’ 1-0 win at American River (7-7). The left-hander went the distance, facing just three over the minimum, while walking one and striking out 10. Mapa provided all the CSM offense with a solo home run in the first.
CSM opened play Friday at American River with a 13-1 win over College of the Redwoods (5-8-1). Sophomore starting pitcher Gianna Tassio allowed one run on two hits through four innings of work to earn the win, improving her record to 5-0. The Bulldogs scored in each inning of the five-inning mercy-rule victory, including a walk-off six-run rally in the fourth, capped by a bases-loaded walk by sophomore Rio Castillo.
