A backpack left on top of a car was lost when the driver drove away on the 3200 block of Crestmoor Drive in San Bruno at 1:25 p.m. The woman returned to find it missing. The bag contained $1,300 cash, driver's license, social security card and immigration paperwork.

Vandalism. Someone threw a bottle through a resident's apartment window on the 700 block of Old County Road at 10:19 p.m. Monday.
Hazardous wires. Cable or phone wires were hanging across a resident's driveway on the 2700 block of Monserat Avenue 9:54 a.m. Monday.

Driving under the influence. A drunk driver and his passenger crashed on the corner of Trousdale and Castenada drives at 2:16 a.m. Thursday. The driver's blood alcohol content was more than the legal limit of .08.
Battery with bodily injury. Two men were involved in a fist fight at the Embassy Suites on 150 Anza Blvd. 2:12 a.m. Saturday. One man received a concussion.
