“We cannot allow all of these people to invade our Country. When somebody comes in, we must immediately, with no Judges or Court Cases, bring them back from where they came. Our system is a mockery to good immigration policy and law and order. Most children come without parents.” — Trump via Twitter.
How many offensive comments can a president make in one tweet? If we examine these statements, sentence by sentence we can see some concerning words, and not all of them grammatically correct.
“We cannot allow all of these people to invade our Country.” The leader of the free world and the commander in chief of the military should know that invasions are normally armed events with the support of their country, not escapees into a captive environment.
“When somebody comes in, we must immediately, with no Judges or Court Cases, bring them back from where they came.” No government has the right to remove people without at least determining if they are genuine refugees or have other valid reasons for entering the country by unofficial means. The suggestion of no judges or courts should cause uproar in the legal world, as cases involving laws, broken or not, should be decided through the legal system and not by a bureaucrat or even a border guard. Bringing them back is not even grammatically correct, much less legally or morally valid.

“Our system is a mockery to good immigration policy and law and order.” No! The misuse or abandonment for political purposes is the mockery of the welcoming country of the United States with its high moral ground.
“Most children come without parents.” Although few detailed statistics are available, this seems manifestly incorrect from any news reports and vision of the people arriving. Parents would not send their children into the “wilderness” without support, protection, and hope.
It is time for the legal system to not only call this out, but to prevent the bypassing of legally accepted protocols.
Dennis- thanks for your letter but we Americans don't really care what someone in Australia thinks of our president. Mind your own business and worry about your country's own immigration policy which is one of the tightest in the world. Good day Mate.
