Your article Feb. 3, “State supe backs Title IX protections based on gender identity,” says that State Superintendent Tony Thurmond is actually doing something.

Thanks for your letter, Mr. Duncan. Good advice for folks to open their eyes and speak up. And if that doesn’t work, go the lawfare route. To that end, I’d encourage students and parents to put schools and organizations on notice that if they don’t adhere to Title IX protections and Trump’s executive order identifying two genders only, the lawfare route may be taken. Of course, this is in addition to notifying the Trump administration of the failure of organizations to adhere to federal law along with the possibility of removal of federal funds to these discriminatory schools.
