The March 9 Daily Journal front page really says it all. “Millbrae concerned over loss of control” referencing SB 35 should be a wake-up call to what is in store for us.
San Bruno, thanks to SB 35, has a 136-unit project at 732-740 El Camino Real (The old Melody new car location) with all of 25 parking spots.
“San Mateo may poll on Measure Y,” this was just voted in just over two years ago. Why would someone challenge a recently approved voter referendum?
Thanks for your letter, Mr. Carey. I imagine developers and building trade unions aren’t happy with referendum so now they’re hoping their contributions into our political process can effect a better return on investment by challenging Measure Y.
