Giovanna Matiasic
Giovanna Matiasic, of San Bruno, died March 14, 2018, at the age of 95.
She joined Mario, her husband of 56 years. She was the mother of Maria Fir (Joe Fir), Tony Matiasic, Gino Matiasic (Danitza), Eddie Matiasic (Lynda) and grandchildren Marko, Sonja, Diana, Paul, Christina, Julie and seven great-grandchildren.
She was a native of Istria, Croatia (formerly Italy) and was a devoted churchgoing Catholic.

Family and friends may visit after 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday, March 18, at Chapel of the Highlands, El Camino Real at 194 Millwood Drive in Millbrae, with a Vigil Service beginning at 7 p.m. A funeral mass will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 19, at Saint Robert Catholic Church in San Bruno. Committal will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Colma.
