The San Mateo County Board of Supervisors plans to hold its regular meeting at a San Bruno senior center this Tuesday, in order to highlight services available to North County residents.
The first item on the agenda at this week's meeting will be a presentation from Metropolitan Transportation Commission Project Manager David Tannehill, on options for improving transbay travel.
Board President Mike Nevin said that although the county was interested in many of the proposed options, such as a Dumbarton rail bridge or a second BART tunnel, the board was opposed the a new bridge that would put more traffic into the northern half of the county.
