This week's rolling power outages gave high-tech companies a prelude to what may be in store during the summer.
A Sun Microsystems Inc. factory in Newark, northeast of San Jose, was hit by blackouts both Monday and Tuesday, forcing it to shut down for several hours each day.
Company officials played down the disruptions, but warned that repeated blackouts over the long term
