Menlo-Atherton 11, Mountain View 3
Ben Skirboll was one of seven different Menlo-Atherton players to score as the Bears (4-0 PAL Bay, 5-4 overall) used a big second-half on their home field to top Mountain View (0-4, 3-5). M-A took a 2-1 lead into halftime before outscoring Mountain View 5-0 in the third quarter. Skirboll led the way with three goals goals, while Carey Wolf and Sam Huddleston scored two apiece.
Palo Alto 9, Carlmont 2
Carlmont trailed 2-1 at the end of the first half, but Palo Alto (4-1 PAL Bay) pulled away on its home field to stay even in the win column with first-place Menlo-Atherton. Shalin Dwivedi led all scorers with a hat trick for Paly. Connor Sargeant and Daxon Scott each scored for the Scots (1-4).
Woodside 11, Los Altos 9
Woodside (4-1 PAL Ocean, 8-1 overall) played back and forth to come out on top at Los Altos (3-2, 3-4). Senior attacker Liam Carver shared the game-high of four goals with Los Altos’ Benji Barton. Sophomore Aiden Olson added three goals for the Wildcats, who keep pace atop the PAL Ocean Division standings with rival Sequoia.
In other action ...
Sequoia (4-1 PAL Ocean, 8-3 overall) rolled to a 13-1 win over Gunn (0-5, 0-7). On Wednesday, Sequoia rode four goals from senior Kieran Peterson to an 8-1 win at Aragon (0-3 PAL Ocean).

Sequoia No. 4 single Julien Czaja held off Carlos Ortega for a 7-5, 6-4 victory to shore up the victory for the Ravens (6-2 PAL Ocean). Half Moon Bay (5-3) went to a tiebreaker at No. 1 doubles with Zander Merrill and Declan Laurenco winning 6-7(3), 6-1, 10-7 over Ethan Kell and Aidan Thach. Sequoia No. 1 single Ethan Khaw took care of business 6-1, 6-0.
PAL Ocean standings: Hillsdale 7-0, Sequoia 6-2, Half Moon Bay 5-3, El Camino 2-5, Oceana 2-5, Capuchino 0-7.
Badminton
Westmoor 21, Menlo-Atherton 9
Westmoor (5-2 PAL Bay) swept at No. 1 boys’ singles from Seiji Phan and; No. 1 boys’ doubles from Angus Leung and Gavin Yiu; and No. 1 mixed doubles Gotzon Yim and Lauryn Chinn to earn the win. M-A’s girls earned wins from No. 1 single Stella Huang and No. 1 doubles Yimeng Cai and Amy Tran.
Bay Division standings: Carlmont 8-0, Aragon 5-2, Burlingame 5-2, Westmoor 5-2, Menlo-Atherton 3-6, San Mateo 2-5, South San Francisco 1-5, Mills 0-7.
