A San Mateo man was arrested Oct. 8, along with two other men already in custody, for a shooting May 9 at the Shell Gas Station at 1400 W. Hillsdale Blvd. in San Mateo.

At about 9:30 p.m. May 9, San Mateo police were called to the location on the report of a loud bang heard by the gas station attendant and found one spent 9 mm shell casing at the scene. Officers confirmed there was a shooting on an occupied vehicle with no injuries and determined there were three men involved. Warrants were issued and two of the suspects, Carlos Alegria, 22, of Millbrae, and Elder Lariosmayen, 20, of San Mateo, were already in custody for an unrelated crime out of San Francisco. The third suspect, Junior Mayen Mujiana, 19, of San Mateo, was still outstanding. Police obtained arrest warrants for all three suspects, and Alegria and Larios had their warrants added to their current bookings in San Francisco, according to police.
