Are you finding kitty litter in your morning coffee? Fur on top of the fridge? Prints across your paper? If you are getting tired of your cat accessing and exploring every surface in your home, there's good news.

Before you can prevent this unwanted behavior, however, you have to figure out why she's attracted to these surfaces in the first place. Cats, as we know, love high places where they can scan the world below them. Our shelter kitties regularly perch on the highest platform inside their kitty condos. If these high places and surfaces in your home have added attractions - a window, crumbs, or comfy padding - it's hard for her to resist. Remove the attractions and provide alternatives.
