Music Review: Robyn's 'Sexistential' is in a pop class all its own
NEW YORK (AP) — Swedish pop savant Robyn has returned with “Sexistential,” her first album in eight years. It is nine-tracks of shimmering synths (“Dopamine,” “Really Real”) ascendant choruses (“Into the Sun”) and rebellious pop songs that double as emotional life rafts (“Sucker for Love”). Robyn works again with collaborator Klas Åhlund and reunites with star songwriter Max Martin for the first time since 2010. The album also revisits older songs in fresh forms. The album is all about propulsion, Associated Press' Music Writer Maria Sherman writes in her review. She says it is a bright collection of sensual tunes about freedom, single motherhood, love and lust — often in the same breath.

The media may have unmasked Banksy — again. That's angered some art fans but not ruffled dealers
LONDON (AP) — Banksy’s mystique is taking a hit after a report about his real name. And fans and experts are debating what that means. Art dealers in London predict that demand for Banksy's work and its top-shelf prices will survive the unmasking. Some fans say the reveal ruins the magic. Others say the work still carries power. Reuters ties its reporting to past clues and court records and said naming Banksy is in the public interest. The story says a man thought to be linked to Banksy traveled to Ukraine in 2022 just before new murals appeared.

A rare look inside the Sistine Chapel for a private concert about angel encounters
VATICAN CITY (AP) — The Vatican’s Sistine Chapel hosted a concert debuting a composition focused on interactions with angels found throughout the Bible. The 70-minute oratorio, “Angels Unawares”, is comprised of 12 pieces, each representing a story drawn from the Bible. On Sunday, British choir The Sixteen sang the lyrics as Cambridge-based chamber orchestra Britten Sinfonia played. Angels could be seen all around — some on the walls depicting Moses’ life and death, and another above, on Michelangelo’s fresco, banishing Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden. Their exile is the first song in “Angels Unaware.”
