Body piercing pin cushion Dennis Rodman is back on the mat. The former National Basketball Association bad boy stars Dec. 1 in a $20 pay-per-view special "Rodman Down Under," a matchup between the former power forward and former wrestling champion Curt Hennig, son of legendary Larry "The Axe" Hennig.
The 39-year-old Rodman reportedly got a six-figure paycheck for the bout, but he won't discuss figures. He wrestled before at a 1997 WCW event.
"I don't really need the money. I can live off a couple of thousand dollars a month. It doesn't matter to me," Rodman said.
Brothers Darren and Steve Seiden of iGeneration Wrestling are producing the Rodman-Hennig match to be shot at the Superdome in Sydney, Australia.
