Boys’ water polo
Menlo School 7, De La Salle-Concord 5
The Knights knocked off the North Coast Section power Spartans for the second time this season in a non-league match.
Menlo (13-3 overall) took a 2-0 lead after one period, but DLS rallied to tie the score at 3-all at halftime.
The Knights outscored the Spartans 3-2 in the third period before holding them scoreless over the final seven minutes.
Greg Hilderbrand and Connor Enright each scored a pair of goals to lead Menlo, with Maxwell Patterson, Noah Housenbold and Sam Untrecht rounding out the scoring.
Menlo goaltender Josh Poulous finished the match with 13 saves.

Woodside 4, Notre Dame-Belmont 3
A three-goal third quarter proved to be the difference for the Wildcats as they beat the Tigers in a PAL Bay Division match.
Michelle Kleytman, Hanna Kawar and Callie Malone each scored a goal for NDB (0-5 PAL Bay, 3-9-1 overall).

Girls’ volleyball
Menlo-Atherton 3, Carlmont 1
Alicia Letvin filled the stat sheet to help lead the Bears to a key PAL Bay Division win over the Scots, 25-17, 25-22, 25-27, 25-10.
Letvin finished with nine kills, 15 digs, five service aces and three blocks. Natalie Grover posted a double-double for M-A (8-1 PAL Bay, 14-3 overall), while Marrit Hoyem finished with seven kills, three aces, two blocks and nine digs.
Carlmont (5-4, 16-10) was led by Morgan McClellan, who finished with 12 kills and 18 digs. Alisha Mitha added 10 kills, nine digs and three blocks. Katie Wong and Jules Tan combined for 27 assists.
Crystal Springs 3, Eastside College Prep 0
The Gryphons improved to 6-1 in WBAL Skyline Division play with a 25-22, 25-19, 25-11 sweep of the Panthers.
Sophie Lockton paced the offense for Crystal Springs (6-1 WBAL Skyline, 14-6 overall), finishing with 16 kills. Gianna Perez finished with 19 assists, while Chloe Sladewski dug up 12 balls.

Aragon 3, Half Moon Bay 0
The Dons kept pace with one-loss M-A atop the PAL Bay Division standings with the sweep of the Cougars.
HMB (0-9 PAL Bay).
McKenzie Mell led the Cougars with six kills and three aces. Sophie Barger handed out 13 assists, while Claire DuFrane finished with four kills.
Capuchino 3, Westmoor 1
Bailey O’Mahony had a huge match in leading the Mustangs to a 26-28, 25-18, 26-24, 25-14 win over the Rams.
O’Mahony finished with 17 kills and 30 digs for Cap (4-5 PAL Ocean, 7-9 overall). Darina Astrakhantesev added nine kills and three blocks for the Mustangs.
Girls’ tennis
Sacred Heart Prep 5, Harker 2
The Gators won three of the four singles matches as well as the last two doubles to beat the Eagles in a WBAL Foothill Division meeting.
Lindsay Lynch, playing at No. 1 singles for SHP (5-0 WBAL Foothill, 8-3 overall), cruised to a 6-1, 6-2 victory. Isa Robinson posted a 6-3, 6-3 at No. 2 doubles, while Katherine Salisbury won her No. 3 singles match, 6-4, 6-2.
On the doubles side, Sarah McGrath and Skylar Schuman waltzed to a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 3 doubles, while the No. 2 doubles team of Noorayn Jafri and Sarah Quinlan won their match, 6-4, 6-1.
San Mateo 4, Half Moon Bay 3
A sweep of the doubles matches helped the Bearcats pull out the win over the Cougars.
Lian Ting and Jully Huang won at No. 1 doubles 6-1, 6-1; Jeevika Adda and Hannah Battat posted a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 2 doubles, while San Mateo’s No. 3 doubles tandem of Mahak Bindal and Amy Wong posted a 6-3, 6-2 decision.
The Bearcats pulled out the win with Grace Wang’s victory at No. 1 singles, 7-6 (7-5), 6-4.
Half Moon Bay got wins from Norah Lynch, Brithany Garcia and Emma Sprankle.

The Cougars stayed unbeaten in PAL Ocean Division play, scoring five times in the opening quarter to take command.
Julie Raffetto and Lily Nelson each recorded hat tricks for HMB (10-0 PAL Ocean), with Raffetto also added a team-high six steals.
