For some reason people tend to forget that voting is not only a right of every citizen, guaranteed by our Constitution — but it is also a privilege (because not all citizens are allowed to vote, e.g. felons), and a responsibility.
This last part, responsibility is, for some reason, simply overlooked or completely forgotten by many.
Yet this is a very important component of our voting system.
Instead of complaining about imaginary “obstacles,” citizen voters have to direct their efforts to making sure he/she have the proper voter ID to prove their eligibility to exercise their voting right.
This will safeguard, support and uphold the integrity of the voting process.
As Grace Xuereb eloquently pointed out, this effort will not need money, but it will take some time and effort. This is the responsibility of every voter.
As far as Mr. Mullin is concerned — he is probably the worst representative California ever had in the U.S. Congress. He did not do anything to help solve any of our everyday problems — high cost of living, homelessness, housing shortage, water shortage, etc.
He is a primitive Democrat foot soldier carrying their empty buckets instead of water — all he knows is to bash Trump, Republicans, conservatives — always without ever providing any alternative solutions to problems.
I sincerely hope voters will elect a better representative during the upcoming election.
