Kudos to San Bruno Merchant Association’s Rebecca Molano for taking the reins and resurrecting a new Chamber of Commerce with one key change — it is now San Bruno’s. Adding the possessive tense is on brand as it implies that this is an organization created for the community. Owner of One Love Cafe, Molano has created a community space filled with art and events that has become a highlight of the downtown. I’m looking forward to working with this new organization as it represents new hope for a community that deserves it. I invite all San Brunans and our neighbors and friends to join us Sept. 27 for Unity Day to celebrate what brings us together as San Brunans — our diversity and our resilience.
