Dear Editor,

The recent executive order is not enough to right the wrongs of separating undocumented children from their families at the southern border. Interning families together is not the solution, we should not be interning any undocumented immigrants at all.

Jamin- what then do we do with people who enter our country illegally. Let them go free and hope they show up for their asylum case in which 90% never do. Sorry, my country will not stand for this illegal behavior. Take our border away from the drug cartels and human smugglers that run things down there.

Chris - your lack of empathy on this matter - overwhelmingly highlights your true feelings on this matter. Unless you are Native American Indian - your ancestors immigrated here - most likely using an illegal format.

Christopher Conway

Thanks Mike- I am native American, I am a direct descendent of Chief Pontiac of the Ottawan tribe. Seriously. You don't however answer my question of what do we do with the people who enter our country illegally. Calling me this or that gets us nowhere on that important question.

Another Conway lie, that 90% don't show up. According to Justice Dept data, the no-show rate is 40%. But you wouldn't know that when your only news source is Der Sturmer.

There you go again Chris hoping and dreaming that you were of Native American Indian decent...

Christopher Conway

Chief Pontiac was actually in what is now Canada, so maybe you wouldn't consider him a native American. Also, I don't hope and dream.

For JustMike650 and others, there is no such thing as a Native American. Even they came here originally from Africa according to Spencer Wells in "The Journey of Men".
A zillion years ago there was a land bridge between Asia and North America over which they came. Thus, American Indians are also immigrants.
And with respect to the children, the Border Control is having a difficult time ensuring that the children are actually being brought by their parents. Many of these children are apparently being brought in under a devious human trafficking scheme. Many are better off under our protection and removed from these criminals. Separation is needed until DNA evidence can prove that these children are related to those who bring them here.

Sorry Dirk but there ARE people that are Native American. Check almost every form one is asked to fill out and ask yourself why there is such a box. Also via tug boat I took food and supplies out to Alcatraz in 1965 to the Sioux who landed on the Rock in 1964.

Dirk, I would like some of whatever you are smoking. It appears to be very potent stuff.
