Editor,

In a September editorial in The New York Times, “Tell Me Where Are You Going To Go” former governor Jerry Brown posited that citizens are leaving California because of fires and related environmental factors.

That may be one reason, but not the primary motivation. High taxes, excessive regulation contributing to expensive housing and a business exodus, squalid lawless sanctuary cities, inadequate energy policies leading to unexpected blackouts and scheduled rolling brownouts, and fiscal mismanagement especially an exploding pension fund liability from sweetheart deals between democrat politicians and government labor unions.

These are the result of intentional Democrat actions over too any years of one party rule, not natural phenomena ( fires and related environmental factors) as governor Brown maintains.

Well written, Mr. Dickson. Maybe people will wise up when they see how much money Governor Grewsome wants to extract from their wallets to pay for his killing of California’s economy. We’re already seeing it now with all the propositions and measures asking for more pension and benefit money. Vote no on anything putting their hands on your money.
