Editor,
Eleventh hour and not enough time available are ridiculous excuses that Republicans offer to push through Judge Kavanaugh’s confirmation.Â
Editor,
Eleventh hour and not enough time available are ridiculous excuses that Republicans offer to push through Judge Kavanaugh’s confirmation.Â
During Obama’s term a Supreme Court vacancy was left unfilled for a number of months due to Republicans’ obstruction. Now, all of a sudden they want to rush to fill the most important seat at the most important time.Â
It had been reported that 90 percent of the documents related to the time when the nominee was working at the White House were not released. Also, the nominee was accused of being untruthful by a ranking member of the Senate. Now we have a woman accusing him of attempted rape.Â
Don’t we want to investigate before giving him a lifetime appointment? What message are we conveying to women, by hastily appointing him to be the Supreme Court Justice? Do we even pause for a moment to think what our scandalous actions means to our daughters and granddaughters? Why rush? Why not finish the investigation and then hold the confirmation vote?

What investigation? There is only one allegation from 36 years ago by a woman with a political agenda to slow down the nomination of the nominee, judge Kavanaugh. Senator Feinstein had this letter from this woman since July and did nothing with it, then after the last minute when it looked like Spartacus and the Democrats couldn't stop this nominee, she leaks it to the Washington Post. We are on the goal line and we need to punch it in right now and get another jurist in the box. If some lefties are left on their backsides trying to stop this nomination, so much the better. During these times of civil war in our country, and the fight that is going on today, the Republican Senate should just roll over the Democrats and not allow them to play these games with the American people. Confirm immediately, and if the left wants to whine about it we can just remind them of how they passed Obamacare. Kavanaugh in the Supreme Court now, we have the votes without a single Democrat. Yes, elections has consequences and we are at war. Period.
K. Sathya...
Love the feigned, moral indignation....as if the Democrats were ever going to vote for Kavanaugh anyway.
Armchair generals now can pause the commercials
awaiting their macho medal of "on her"
What bravery is displayed here by war mongers far removed battle.
Forward men. Charge! Let;s take the Hill again.
So it is OK for Trump to set conditions before he will testify for Muller’s investigation, but it is not OK for Ms. Ford to make demands before her testimony. Seems like a double standard.
I thought Trump was the president on the United States, and what crime did Mueller charge him with again.
Perhaps the president could be charged with not proof reading his Tweets
before he sends them; and for numerous repetitions and the slurring of words
in many of his forgettable speeches..
What is president Trump charged with again Thomas? I forgot, could you remind me.
Nothing at this point, but the last time I check law enforcement can question anyone they choose. If we had to wait for charges there would be a lot more criminals on the street. Sounds worse than prop 47. I hope you are not advocating for this.
