Joseph Lo Schiavo Sr.
Joseph Lo Schiavo Sr., born Sept. 13, 1950, died Feb. 13, 2019, from respiratory complications after battling a long illness.
He was surrounded by family and close friends as he passed. He is survived by his wife Dana; sons Joseph Jr. (Christy) and Michael (Andrea); daughter Nina; sister JoAnn; mother Ann; stepmother Dorothy; niece Heather (Jason); and granddaughters Brittany and Taylor.
He was a graduate of Serra High School in 1968 and served with honor and distinction at the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office for more than 30 years. He was the son of the late captain, Nino Lo Schiavo.
Private services will be held. Please feel free to plant a rose bush in Joe’s honor and enjoy the flowers.
