A house of students on Treasure Island is giving web surfers a chance to vote for their potential roommates "Survivor" style, according to organizers of an online "reality site."
Applicants send details about themselves and a photo, according to the rules, and then their mugs are posted on www.tiexp.com. Visitors to the site vote for the best applicant.
"The site is an irreverent source of news, satire, and information about the residents, the house, the island ... The idea for the contest comes in part from the online beauty contest, www.
amihotornot.com, and the Survivor series," the web site reads.<
