The case against a 31-year-old Australian tourist and professional race car driver who allegedly killed two individuals in an oncoming car while accidentally driving on the wrong side of the road on Sept. 1, 2023, will be proceeding to trial, San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe said.

The man, Luke Nardini, declined a plea deal from the DA’s Office to plead no contest to two counts of misdemeanor manslaughter and receive no more than one year in county jail with the possibility of a lesser sentence.

Stupid Aussie doesn't understand how the American Justice system works. Take the Plea or suffer a 10x worse penalty. Deservedly so - he killed 2 people doing an activity he is supposed to be an expert at. 5 Years Minimum - I would give him 7.

He is going to get way worse of a sentence after his Jury trial.
