Burlingame’s bulging row of Bayside hotels could soon grow as a builder submitted plans to construct more temporary lodging for travelers seeking a place stay close to San Francisco International Airport.

EKN Development Group submitted recently plans to develop a 12-story hotel offering 404 rooms, plus a restaurant, conference room, fitness center, swimming pool and rooftop bar at 1499 Bayshore Highway, in between the Marriott and Hyatt Regency hotels.
