A juvenile with four active warrants for his arrest was taken into custody Saturday in connection with four different felony graffiti vandalisms in August, according to San Mateo police.

Police made the arrest at about 1 p.m. Oct. 12. Police were notified Aug. 11 of graffiti that was freshly spray painted at the Martin Luther King Center, located at 725 Monte Diablo Ave. Officers responded to the park and found the graffiti on the exterior walls of the bathrooms in the middle of the park. The distinct graffiti was gang related and matched three other reported vandalism cases that were previously reported to police.
