· The Redwood City Planning Commission will nominate a new chair and vice-chair at its Tuesday night meeting. During the same meeting, the commission will hold a public hearing and adopt a Waterfront Inventory classification system for the Redwood Shores Lagoon Bank area. The Planning Commission has already recommended approval to the City Council on two levels of classification for waterfront property. This hearing will only relate to other classifications.
The commission meets at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 20 at City Hall, 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City.
· Redwood City is hosting a design update meeting for the future Redwood Shores Community Library Thursday, Sept. 22. The meeting will offer up-to-date plans and renderings of the most recent design changes to the library slated to open in late 2007.
The meeting is at 7:30 p.m. at the Sandpiper Community Center, 797 Redwood Shores Parkway, Redwood Shores.
