American Legion

Volunteers from the Redwood City American Legion Post 105 Family (Legionnaires, Auxiliary, Sons & Riders) assisted Peninsula Day Camp (PDC) the last two weeks by setting up and taking down sun-protection canopies for 410 campers and 150+ volunteers. Post 105 Family also donated $500 to help PDC replace needed equipment due to property loss at a local storage facility. PDC’s current generation of management represents decades of family volunteerism dedicated to its local community. Established in 1919, American Legion Post 105’s four pillars of service include Veteran Affairs & Rehab, National Security, Americanism, and Children & Youth.
