Priory 3, San Mateo 2
With the game tied 2-all at the half, Priory (7-5) scored the game-winner in the second half of a non-league road trip to San Mateo (7-6-2). Mateo’s non-seniors had a big day, as sophomore Efrain Celis Bueno and freshman Yolman Salvador each scored goals, with assists from junior Vedaant Puri and freshman Erik Morales.

Serra (4-1-2 WCAL, 8-2-3 overall) rolled to a 4-0 victory at Riordan-SF (1-6, 2-11).

Terra Nova 2, Riordan 2
The Tigers (7-4-1) battled to their first draw of the season in their home pitch against Riordan-SF (2-7-3). Senior striker Ella Templin and senior forward Daniela Guterres scored one goal apiece for Terra Nova, while freshmen goalkeepers Whitney O’Reilly and Juliet Long split time to combine for seven saves.

Menlo 5, Harker 0
The Knights (5-1 WBAL, 7-3-2 overall) scored three times in the first half and kept adding on in a home win over Harker-San Jose (2-4, 3-6-1). The win marks the third straight for Menlo. Senior Cameron Rafati recorded his first multi-goal game of the year with two scores, while Declan Sitter, Stevie Halprin and Allen Wang also got on the board. Junior Matthew Bowden totaled two assists, with goalkeepers Sebastian Quezada and Dylan O’Malley combining on the shutout.
With the win, third-place Menlo (15 points) stays within striking distance in the West Bay Athletic League standings, one point behind first-place Sacred Heart Prep (16 points) and Crystal (16 points).
Hillsdale 2, South City 0
Two first-half goals were the difference as Hillsdale (5-0-2 PAL Bay, 8-1-4 overall) earned its 12th straight decision without a loss at South City (0-7-1, 0-10-1). Senior Tyler Hughes got the Fighting Knights on the board with an assist from junior Nisith Andrabadu, and Andrabadu added an unassisted goal. Hillsdale hasn’t lost a game since its Dec. 3 season opener against Monte Vista-Danville, the No. 1 ranked team in the North Coast Section, according to MaxPreps.com.
El Camino 2, Jefferson 1
Two freshmen fueled the scoring as the Colts (10-0-1 PAL Ocean, 13-0-1 overall) earned one of their tightest wins of the season to stay unbeaten at Jefferson (0-5-2, 0-9-3). Freshman forward Frank Serrano and freshman Manny Tafolla each converted unassisted goals as El Camino won its 11th straight. With five regular-season games to go, the Colts 31 points) lead second-place Half Moon Bay (26 points) by five points in the PAL Ocean Division standings.

Burlingame 1, Woodside 1
In a battle for second place in the PAL Bay Division, home team Woodside (3-1-3 PAL Bay, 6-2-3 overall) got on the board first with a first-half goal from senior midfielder Ben Lange, assisted by sophomore Brainin Augustin. Burlingame (4-2-2, 7-2-2) answered with an equalizer in the second half from senior Lucas Bardsley. With the draw, second-place Burlingame (13 points) remains two points ahead of third-place Woodside (11 points).
Sequoia 2, Aragon 0
After a scoreless tie at the half, junior defenseman Darcy Cross assisted on a Charles Hudson goal, then added the first goal of his varsity career with an assist from junior Nicholas Jones to lead the Ravens (3-4-1 PAL Bay, 5-5-2 overall) to the win at Aragon (2-5-1, 3-8-1). Senior goalkeeper Max Slayen recorded his second straight shutout, and his fifth of the year.
Half Moon Bay 3, Westmoor 0
Freshman Max Magana tallied one goal and one assist to lead the Cougars (8-2-2 PAL Ocean , 8-4-2 overall) to a home win over Westmoor (3-6-1, 3-6-1). Seniors Donavan Alendarez and Jack McMillan also scored for HMB, with assists from juniors Soren Brown and Omar Valencia. Sophomore goalkeeper Gualberto Morales earned his second straight shutout, and his third of the year.
San Mateo 3, Oceana 2
The Bearcats (6-3-2 PAL Ocean, 7-6-2 overall) battled to get in the win column at Oceana (1-8-2, 1-8-2). Freshman Benjamin Contreras and sophomore Antony Navarro scored unassisted for San Mateo, followed by the junior Rohan George game-winner on an assist from freshman Julio Lima. Aidyn Avila for the Sharks on the board in the second half with an assist from Iker Serrano, and Quinn Allen added a score.
Capuchino 2, Terra Nova 1
The Mustangs (5-5-1 PAL Ocean, 6-5-2 overall) snapped a 1-all tie in the second half on a goal from Miles Lin to earn the win at Terra Nova (3-6-2, 3-6-2). Christopher Devalla got Cap on the board in the first half. Terra Nova’s Charlie Higdon scored on a penalty kick.

West Bay Athletic League frontrunners Crystal (5-0-1 WBAL, 9-0-2 overall) and Sacred Heart Prep (5-0-1, 6-1-3) battled to a 1-1 draw in Hillsborough.
Menlo-Atherton (2-0-4 PAL Bay, 4-4-4 overall) fought to a scoreless draw at Carlmont (2-2-2, 3-4-3).
Design Tech (2-2-1 PSAL, 2-3-1 overall) snapped a two-game skid with a 4-0 home win over KIPP Esperanza-Palo Alto (1-3-2, 2-6-3).

Sacred Heart Prep 5, Notre Dame-SJ 0
Lauryn Masetti recorded a hat trick to lead the Gators (3-2-1 WBAL, 6-4-1 overall) to victory at Notre Dame-San Jose. The senior scored each of SHP’s first three goals, with assists from sophomore Avery Sui, senior Karen Martinez and freshman Arden Frymoyer. Sui added a score on an assist from freshman Katie Gaffey, and junior Avery Chen closed out the scoring one Martinez’s second assist of the day.
