Woodside 41, El Camino 14
Despite having 13 penalties for a total of 100 yards, the Woodside Wildcats (6-0, 8-0) dismantled the El Camino Colts (2-3, 3-5) 41-14 Friday afternoon in South San Francisco.
Woodside scored on its first drive when senior running back Tyreece Jacks scored from 15 yards out.
On the Colts' first drive, the Wildcats were called for two offsides penalties but it didn't make much difference when Woodside recovered a Colts fumble on their own 44-yard line.
That was story for the Colts Friday afternoon as they couldn't take advantage of the Wildcats' mistakes.
Instead, El Camino's senior quarterback Dupre Miller threw two costly interceptions with the Colts driving in Wildcats territory.
The only scores for the Colts came when senior running back David Goff had a 4-yard touchdown in the second quarter and a 14 yard-run in the fourth.
The other scores for the Wildcats were a 49-yard run from Jacks, a 42-yard touchdown reception for senior receiver Dominic Cruz Duncan and an 18-yard run from senior quarterback Julian Edelman.
On the Wildcats' final two scores, they decided to get creative. They scored on the halfback option pass with senior Jake Harnett throwing a perfect spiral to Duncan for a 26-yard score.

For their last score, they had senior offensive lineman David Motuliki take it in from the 1-yard line.
While the Woodside coaching staff wasn't pleased with the all the referees calls they had to be pleased with the performance of Jacks, who had two touchdowns and 110 yards rushing on only 10 carries. The other standout for Woodside was Edelman who was 8 for 12 passing for 101 yards with one interception. On the Colts side, Goff had 99 yards rushing on 23 carries.
South City 22, Mills 0
South San Francisco proved to be the better team, handing Mills a 22-0 drubbing on Friday night.
Ryan Johnson scored the first touchdown of the game for the Warriors, when he powered his way into the end zone from 10 yards out.
Johnson rushed for 148 yards on 18 carries and aided in opening up the passing game which allowed quarterback Eric Moore to connect with receiver Justin Whitley nine times for 155 yards, the longest being a 38-yard connection that put South City in scoring position once again.
Raul Lira had the last touchdown of the game, rushing two yards untouched for the score in the beginning of the fourth quarter. Lira had 80 of the teams 275 yards rushing and was a large contributor in wearing out of the defensive front four of Mills.
Mills did have a glimmer of hope on the kick return following the Warriors last score. Shane Hart received the kick and returned it 77 yards deep into Warrior territory. Despite the momentum from Hart's return, Mills couldn't get it done on fourth-and-goal, handing the ball back to South City, who kept it on the ground, running the clock out and sealing the victory.
