Cañada baseball Cole Leschak MUG

Cole Leschak

With Coast Conference North baseball play set to open Tuesday, the Cañada Colts (8-11) snapped a two-game skid by finishing out their non-conference slate last Friday with a 4-3 victory at Cabrillo College (12-8).

Tied 3-all in the seventh, the Colts opened the frame with back-to-back singles from Cole Leschak and Stone Daniel-Savage. After a one-out walk to Nate Turkington loaded the bases, Caven Croom fouled off two 2-2 pitches before grounding one to the right side of the infield to drive home Leschak on an RBI fielder’s choice.
