Editor,
I strongly support Noelia Corzo’s reelection to the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors because she has delivered results through compassionate, accountable and community-focused leadership.
Supervisor Corzo has been a champion for survivors of domestic violence by creating and leading a countywide task force and helping lay the foundation for San Mateo County’s first Family Justice Center, a one-stop resource for survivors seeking support and safety.
She has supported local businesses by sponsoring a local procurement ordinance that prioritizes San Mateo County businesses and strengthens our local economy.
Believing government should reflect community voices, Corzo commissioned the first-ever district strategic plan based on representative community input, ensuring county priorities are shaped by residents.
Her leadership on public safety has been equally important. She co-led the county response to abuses within the Sheriff’s Office and co-sponsored a ballot measure allowing the removal of a sheriff for just cause, promoting accountability and restoring public trust.
Supervisor Corzo also supported a countywide 24/7 non-armed mobile mental health crisis response team, providing compassionate care for people experiencing mental health emergencies.
In addition, she stood with working families and labor by co-leading the Project Labor Agreement between the county and San Mateo County Building and Construction Trade Councils and affiliated unions.
Noelia Corzo’s record reflects leadership that listens, acts, and delivers. She has earned our continued support.
