Your Nov. 3 story about the Block 21 project sounded rather familiar to me (“Block 21 seeks tenants”).
Your article from Sept. 11 of this year opens up with, “A struggle to fill office space at the new building opposite the Gateway at Millbrae Station led developers to ask city officials to allow it to pivot to biotech, which was granted by the Planning Commission late last month.”
Almost looks like the experts are building all kinds of stuff that is evidently not needed. Hopefully the upcoming project at the old Lucky and Shoppers World, (yes, I’m that old) which is “to close on Nov. 3 to make way for a mixed-use housing project” (Daily Journal Sept. 26) will not meet the same fate.
With all of these projects over the past few years, how has our infrastructure been improved? How many new fire stations built? What sort of increase in public safety personal? Let’s not even mention water or utilities.
