I remember when airplane hijacking by Arab terrorists became a ‘thing’ in the late 1960’s and continuing through the 1970’s. Initially people expressed outrage at the perpetrators who often murdered and maimed their captives and blew up airplanes.
Yet in 1974, former Nazi SS member/UN Secretary General Kurt Waldheim invited late PLO leader Arafat to address the UN General Assembly. Arafat obliged, wearing a handgun on his hip.
Since then, a highly successful propaganda campaign has been executed by Arab countries with Qatar’s private media channel, Al Jazeera, leading the way. Much of the world continues kowtowing to Arab terrorism as we saw in the recent UN recognition of a non-existent Palestinian state, with Hamas simultaneously holding Israeli hostages for almost two years now.
Whomever dreamed up this plan to fraudulently label Israel, the victim, as the oppressor, was a genius. It plays neatly into the supposedly civilized but asinine notion that when someone says they will kill you, the best thing is to do is try to talk them out of it.
I hope we awake from this nightmare soon, but it seems that the larger physical confrontation desired by those who support this heinous deception will come to pass before that happens.

Thanks for your letter, Mr. Tuck. Let’s hope Netanyahu finishes his mission to destroy Hamas sooner rather than later. Let’s also remember the treacherous nations on the wrong side of history who support Hamas over Israel.
