Gavin for president?

So now Galloping Gavin is on the “non-campaign” campaign trail traveling around the country. What a wonderful record to run on: The highest tax rate, highest utility costs, highest cost of living, highest unemployment rates, highest homeless rate (after spending more than $20 billion, no resolution), one of the highest costs for gasoline. California’s education system now ranks in the lower half, about 44th-45th in the nation. Do you really want this guy as president?

Thanks for your letter, Mr. Garbarino. I wouldn’t want Newsom as president but I would like to see him as the Democrat candidate. We’d then pretty much guarantee President Trump 2028, President Vance 2028 or President Rubio 2028.

Rich, as to Gavin for president, why not? We have as our erstwhile leader a traitor, a sex offender, an habitual liar, a twice impeached, 34 felony counted conman and a violator of the Constitution. Trump has lowered the bar so low any candidate would be acceptable and preferable.

As to Gavin's qualifications, have you heard him speak in town halls or in media events? He has eons better control of the English language and a history of politics then many other politicians. He has also successfully led California to have the 4th or 5th best economy, if valued alone, in the world. He has many warts. My preference would be Corey Booker, but Gavin would do just fine thank you.

Rel, assuming your ranting is directed at our (yes, our) great President Trump, I notice you didn’t include “wannabe dictator.” Which is appropriate since it’s because King Newsom is the wannabe dictator, locking down California for what, three years, causing businesses to close and likely causing more Californians to be infected, and die, from COVID. Didn’t King Newsom tell folks to wear masks and keep to small gatherings all the while eschewing masks and having parties with multitudes of people? Hmmm, do what I say but not what I do? Perhaps you’ve forgotten that our (yes, our) great President Trump wants to Make America Great Again, again, whereas King Newsom only wants to make himself great. When you hear Newsom speak, we can tell he’s more of a habitual liar than anyone else. And voters can tell the difference. And really, “Spartacus” Cory Booker? Actually, he’d likely be more palatable to Democrats across the country than King Newsom.
