Keith Kreitman ("The peddlers of fear” column in the March 29 edition of the Daily Journal), in spite of his good intentions, has underestimated the damage already done and what can be done by Islamic terrorist groups. Their crude weapons, suicide bombers, snipers and rockets, have caused great damage to Israelis and are difficult to defend against. He said there have only been ten major terrorism acts in the ten years including 9/11.
Ask the friends and relatives of the people killed, injured and traumatized if those ten acts were significant. Then he underestimated the possible effect of nuclear weapons if used by terrorists. Just imagine the possible results of that kind of terrorism. He calls all this fear, but instead it is realism.
