Stephen died suddenly at the age of 61 while enjoying a
long-awaited family vacation. Beloved husband of Deborah Mast,
loving father of Melissa and Samantha Mast.
He is also survived by his brother Gary Mast and his wife Angelina,
of Redwood City, and Greg Mast and his wife Diane, of Morgan Hill,
He was preceded in death by his Mother, Dorothy, and his
father, Jerome.
Steve was a loving, kind and generous person
who touched the lives of everyone around him
in such a positive way. He would always think of others
before himself making sure his family, especially, was
taken care of. He loved his children more than anything
and was so very proud of everything that they accomplished.
He was excited for all the things that were to come.
Steve graduated from Woodside High School; attended Canada
College receiving his AA degree also attending San Jose State University.
He was looking forward to retirement soon, and spending more time with his family.
He had owned his own business and for many years managed several
businesses. He made many friends over the years due to his
generous heart and ability to listen to people. He enjoyed playing slot machines,
Sudoku, and reading. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife.
Friends and family are invited to a memorial service on Saturday August 26, 2017
at 11am at Crosby-NGray Funeral Home at 2 Park Road, Burlingame. Interment at
Cypress Lawn Cemetery following service. A celebration of Steve’s life will follow at
the family home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Steve’s name to the Peninsula
Humane Society 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame.
